Nylons

• Custom cost nylon grades supplied such as: Glass or Rube filled, for increased compressive strength and impact strength respectively
• Custom castings supplied such as: rings, discs, cones, blocks and nylon cast onto steel hubs.

Acetal

Black or white in colour, this semi-crystalline copdysma material has a good balance of engineering properties. The low moisture absorption, excellent strength an good chemical resistance make it suitable to many applications. The dimensional stability make it a ideal choice for precision machined components such as cams, gears and parts for machine construction in addition, parts which operate contiguously in water of 60’c – 80’c Acetal black/white available in sheets or rods ONLY.

P.T.F.E

Unique in its combination of properties this material has outstanding chemical resistance, very low coefficient of friction and extremely wide working temperature range (-260’c/260’c). The low creep resistance properties make it ideal for seals and gaskets an other applications include bushes, valve steam seals, thrust washers, insulators, slide bearings.

Available in Sheet, Rod & Tubes. Bronze and glass filled grades are custom cast on request.

Polyethylene

Both grades, High density, polyethylene and Ultra High Molecular weight polyethylene are stacked in black, white and green. A extensive selection of different colours are available on request. The versatile material is commonly used in all food processing plants. Applications include cutting boards, wear strips, guides, conveyor chain guides, transfer plates, scrapers, dough rollers and all cost effective wear applications.

Polyethylene available in sheets only.

Phenolic Laminates

Commonly known as Tufnol, Thiolytz, or referred to as “bakelite”. This material is available in a proper or weaved fabric grade for either mechanical or electric applications.

Mechanical applications include spacers, bushes, guides.

Electrical applications include transformer bobbins, busbar spacers, base plates.

Available in sheets, rods and tubes.
